How Are We Different?

We're a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice. DPC is a unique approach to healthcare and our patients

Fewer Patients

Did you know that most Primary Care Providers have between 2,500-3,500 patients? We limit our patient panel to 250-400 patients total. That means that your provider spends more time with you when you need her. Plus, when she is not actively seeing a patient, she is able to communicate, help coordinate your care, and research your treatments. There isn’t a long wait to see or talk to your provider, with same day answers in most cases!

No Insurance

Wonder Health & Wellbeing does not bill any insurance plans, so you won’t have a middle-man in your primary care. Decisions about your healthcare will be made by you and your doctor without the restrictions that come from third-party payers. Instead, patients pay a monthly membership fee which can save money and covers excellent treatment. Give it a try, and you’ll quickly see for yourself the value of this approach!

Benefits of Direct Primary Care

Comprehensive Primary Care

We provide high-quality primary care for children, adults, and geriatric patients, offering comprehensive care across all stages of life. Services include annual physicals, preventive screenings, chronic disease management, mental health support, urgent care, sports medicine, medical weight management, and annual physical exams.

Common conditions we treat include migraines, high blood pressure, thyroid dysfunction, fatigue, diabetes, digestive concerns, women’s health exams, acne, eczema, rashes, autoimmune disease, hormone replacement therapy, respiratory concerns, cold and flu, PCOS, menopause, and more.

Unlimited Office Visits

Forget scheduling appointments weeks in advance. Typically you'll get a same day or next-day appointment - and it'll be free.

Office visits when you want them. With no fees.

Appointments are offered in person, on the phone, or virtually (telehealth).

Extended time with the doctor

Appointments are typically 30 minutes, but can go as long as 90. Whatever it takes to get you taken care of. Good healthcare takes time.

24/7 Communication

Contact us whenever you want, however you want - email, text, in-person, even video chat. You're part of the family.

Can I call you after hours?

Yes! We do ask our members be mindful when communicating outside of normal business hours. Our typical process is to read every request we receive outside of business hours, and respond to truly urgent needs right away. If something is middle-of-the-night urgent, we suggest our members consider urgent care or the emergency room.

Non urgent concerns will be addressed the next business day.

We can often avoid office visits altogether by sending your questions directly via text – something you won't get from a traditional practice.

Save on co-pays, labs, and medications

We've negotiated wholesale rates on medication and lab tests, and we pass all those savings straight to you.

Greatly discounted medications

We dispense many medications in-house, so we're offering medications to you at discounted prices. For nearly all medications, the price we offer is cheaper than your co-pay at a pharmacy. If you take chronic medications, the savings on medication might be greater than your entire membership fee.

Greatly discounted labwork

We've negotiated great deals with national labs to get your tests done on the cheap. You'll be able to get your annual bloodwork done for less than $200.

Meet the Founder:

Tara Holley, Family Nurse Practitioner

Tara is trained in both traditional and functional medicine, bringing the best of both worlds together for a holistic health approach. She believes in treating the mind, body, and spirit in unison. She provides traditional primary care, with a goal of  helping individuals regain their wellness, achieve their goals, and uncover answers to the question, "How can I feel better?"

Many people who feel unwell or suspect something isn’t right often visit their doctors, only to be told their labs are “normal” and that nothing is wrong. Tara has been trained to dig deeper, remain curious, and persist in her quest for answers. She specializes in treating gut dysbiosis, often the underlying cause of various health issues, including brain fog, fatigue, autoimmune disorders, diabetes, mental health concerns, thyroid disease, hormone imbalances, leaky gut, and mast cell activation. Tara collaborates with each patient to develop personalized health plans tailored to help them feel good in their bodies again. She views every patient as an individual rather than merely a diagnosis, empowering them through asking questions, teaching, and learning together—utilizing natural therapies, lifestyle changes, and medications when necessary.

Tara has been in health care for over 20 years, starting as a registered nurse and later returning to school to become a family nurse practitioner. After many years in the traditional healthcare system, she knew that establishing her own direct primary care practice would support her goal of providing high quality care that is affordable and allows patients to feel heard and achieve a different level of wellness through time, relationship, and collaboration. Welcome to a different kind of healthcare, where the goal is your wellbeing.
